Game: Gmod is a sandbox game that was originally a mod for Half Life 2 until it was made into a complete separate game. But not everything is sandbox. Custom gamemodes are also a big thing.
Gamemode: Trouble in Terrorist Town is a gamemode that standardly uses Counter Strike: Source as it's base but can also be modded with more content. There are traitors around who have to kill everyone except their Traitor buddies if they have one. The Innocent don't know who it is and have to find out. There may also be a detective who is on the innocents team and has special equipment. Traitors also have special equipment.
