GLUM APATHETIC SOCIETY are a new 4-piece crasher crust outfit brought to you by members of CULTURE SHAPING VIOLENCE, SPIROKETE and WORLD DISORDER. The group delivering five chaotic tracks of raw noise fuelled madness on a destructive debut tape release that won’t fall on deaf ears. An apocalyptic sonic assault initiated from start to finish. Desperate times, desperate measures.
Fuzzed out bass obliteration and the lacerating guitar bombardment really lays the foundation for the brutal drumming propulsion that ensues. Vocally, the ghastly shrieking accompanied by the damaged backing vocals shooting from all directions is the cherry on top. Overall, the group worshipping at the altar of 90s Japanese crasher crust; in the vain of ‘Recommendation Of Perdition’ era GLOOM and the noisephillia of ZYANOSE. Think the distorted static overdrive of COLLAPSE SOCIETY corrupted by the enormity of DEATH DUST EXTRACTOR adjacent aural butchery. Laced with elements of grinding death similar to that of early TERRORIZER. Essential for purveyors of filth. No war but the crust war.
