Goobertown Roulette is a game where I paint a random one-off mini from my backlog. I use dice to decide what colors and style to paint it.
Grab a random mini, roll the dice, and paint it!
I've found this is a fun way to branch out and build new skills. The game gets me to try new things and push my boundaries! It's a really enjoyable creative outlet.
This series was inspired by some really fun speed painting competitions I saw and participated in at GenCon. It's a rush to get a random mini. Painting a random mini is more fun than opening a pack of magic cards. Sure, I was the one who loaded up that treasure bin, but there is a TON of different stuff in there, and I'm trying hard to forget exactly what is in there :-)
Spoilers: In this episode- spoilers- I need to make this Squig Hopper look hopeful using the colors blue and yellow-orange.
