Single needle lockstitch horn shoe sewing machine of the McKay type. The leather soles are stitched to each upper by using the Blake/McKay method for supreme comfort and flexibility.
The upper is wrapped around the insole and attached between it and the outsole. A single stitch attaches everything together. The stitches are
concealed by a channel in the outsole and pass through the outsole, upper, lining, and insole. Because it is a simpler construction than a Goodyear welt, it is also less expensive. This machine can also be used for resoling
once the outsole is worn or damaged.
