Israeli forces have expanded a ground incursion inside Lebanon, stoking fears of a wider regional war as it steps up airstrikes in Lebanon and Gaza. The latest escalation in the Middle East comes as ahead of the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel and its ongoing war against Hamas in Gaza.
