Rooted in Hardstep Drum&Bass, KLAbe began mixing at the tender age of 15.
Along with his group of 3 DJs and countless MCs, he gained notoriety in his home town of Northolt (west London) with hundereds of one-off mixtapes circlulating the area via the age-old method of being borrowed by a friend who would in turn, lend to a friend and so on.

House parties and local pirate radio stations were regular hangouts. Accumulating musical knowledge and building a network with like-minded people made the hardships of teenage life in 90s London seem less important.

As the years passed and KLAbe's musical taste matured he began to branch out into other genres sampling the delights of progressive house, Tech House, Electronica and Minimal Techno.

Now in his 30s KLAbe has settled down as a proud father of 3 but still loves the underground music scene with a passion. KLAbe's ever popular YouTube channel: youtube.com/user/kingklabe is his main outlet but by no means is KLAbe81 your average YouTube DJ. He specifically picks tracks that gel together and after taking you on a musical journey that starts off minimal, dark and brooding and progresses into the realms of intense, hard-hitting Techno, he brings the mix to a climactic finish often ending with something uplifting and melodic to cushion the landing.

Having no real desire for fame and fortune doesn't keep KLAbe from working hard to ensure the listeners enjoy what they hear. The love of great music comes first and if he finds something outstanding he will always work to point it in the right direction. The same goes for undiscovered talent. With many famous connections on the underground electronic music scene KLAbe81 is nothing short of an excellent middleman so be sure to send him your work if you think you have what it takes.
