CheerLights is a super fun intro to internet-connected LEDs. Just an ESP32 board, a strip of WS2812 pixels, and a few lines of code pulling color updates from the web. Once you’ve uploaded the WLED software, the whole circuit lights up in whatever color the global feed sends.
