Glimpses of todays 128th Gurupurnima Mahotsav – Dagdusheth Halwai Datta Mandir 🎶
Students from the School of Liberal Arts (SOLA) presented soulful devotional performances, including bhajans and abhangs, at the 128th Shrimati Lakshmibai Dagdusheth Halwai Datta Mandir Gurupurnima Mahotsav.
The occasion was graced by Hon.Dr. Tarita Shankar,
President Designate - Indira University, Chairperson and Chief Mentor- Indira Group of Institutes along with Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Dr. Anjali Kalkar, Prof. Renu Garg, Mr. Sahil Mehendale, and Mr. Shaan Mehendale.
The concert began with a Ganesh Vandana and an Abhang by Mr. Sahil Mehendale (Trustee – Shree Chanakya Education Society), accompanied by Mr. Nitin Sangame (Director, Sound of Music Academy – INS) on the harmonium and Mr. Mahesh Gadhave on the tabla.
Captivating devotional renditions were presented by:

Dr. Anjali Kalkar (Dean, School of Commerce and Economics)
Mr. Nilesh Khalikar (Area Chair – Music, SOLA)
Students: Prem Gujar, Saurabh Sharma, Sahil Ekunkar, Atharva Narkhede, Vivek Narkhede, Shravani Taras, and Pranjal Wakadkar.
The performances deeply moved the audience. Mr. Jahagirdaar and Mr. Balkawde from the Temple Trust felicitated the performers and dignitaries as a gesture of heartfelt appreciation.
A spiritually uplifting musical celebration that resonated in the hearts of every Punekar rasika in attendance.
