I've been wondering about glazing separate pieces together for a couple of different projects recently. For example, making a large tiered fountain that has the entire assembly glazed together at the end.

I thought it best to start with something small. I combine 9 succulent pots into 4 groupings and fire them again to bond the glazes. I show you the results.

I think it is safe to assume that having only glaze bonding two things together is not going to be as strong. That said, if the bond is large enough, and the piece isn't going to see rough handling, why not?
