Today we are making an amphora form with a murrine rollup. Murrine is a process of applying color where color is cut into small disks, melted together and rolled onto a blowpipe. One on the pipe, we can begin to inflate and shape the glass into the preferred form. These rollups are relatively new to my work so they are always a work in progress, never stop improving.
