This is the first prototype of an Arduino controlled glass lamp illumination device. The light is supplied by LED strips mounted to a 3D printed fixture that is inserted inside the glass sculpture. The light control is via an Arduino combined with a power FET. The glass sculpture was purchased from Mad River Glass in Waitsfield, Vermont. Flicker mode allows you to imagine that there is a candle inside. Swell mode slowly increases and decreases the internal illumination so that you can see both the illuminated glass as a lamp, and the un-illuminated glass revealing the rock patina.
