How To Modify Tamiya TT02 Suspension for Rally: Project TT02 Subaru WRC 2008 Mark Bryan RC 2023-11-05 | In this video we take a look at my latest project, the Tamiya TT02 red white and black special parts 1/10 RC Rally car. The main chassis components were graciously donated by my friend Peter Smith @cw-01creations46. I was also lucky to be sent a 3D printed chassis cover by my friend Mal @BasBoyRC. So I've assembled the chassis and have made modifications to improve it's rally performance - as we all know the suspension is the key to off road running so I go into detail about the mods and upgrades made to increase suspension travel, ground clearance and the smooth running of this popular Tamiya chassis.Here is a link to the supplier I use on eBay for the stainless hex screws. ebay.co.uk/itm/181024489629They are the cheapest I've found - about £3 for 50 M3x10mm button head screws! I recently fitted an Absima Thrust Eco18 turn brushed motor. It's a budget, non-adjustable silver can for about £11. How much faster than stock will it be?Also, my awesome friend, Rob @robbrennanrc heard I was doing this speed test so he gatecrashed with his XV-01 with a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRC body fitted and an upgraded motor, the HPI Firebolt 15T budget silver can, about the same price as the Absima. On paper, the lower 15T should be faster... but is it? Lets find out!!!!

The 1/10 scale RC truck is almost stock, the only changes being a set of ball bearings and a Team Orion Super Stock 12 turn brushed motor. Oh, and the tyres have been replaced with stock Blitzer Beetle tyres. The battery is a 4500mAh 2S. Tamiya Subaru Brat Sand Rally Action! Mark Bryan RC 2023-12-15 | My new Tamiya Subaru Brat on the ORV chassis takes to the sands at Sandy Bottom for a bit of rally action! The stock RWD chassis and tyres struggled a little in the deep sand but the little 1/10 RC truck did very well and was a lot of fun out there! I did most of the filming of this one with my GoPro on a stick. The driving was done by my mates Rob @robbrennanrc and Dom @rc-dom-uk , you can get a glimpse of them at the end of the video! How to do RC Bodywork + LEDs Tamiya Subaru 2008 WRC TT02 Body Set 1364 Mark Bryan RC 2023-12-01 | In this video I detail the process of painting an RC Lexan (polycarbonate) body, masking off the windows, applying the decals / stickers and fitting LED light buckets and LEDs. The body used is the Tamiya Subaru 2008 WRC body set, Part Number 1364. This body is then fitted to my latest RC rally car chassis project, a modified Tamiya TT-02. The LED set was sent from Peter Smith @cw-01creations46 , many thanks! The LED set is from 3Racing and is called "RC Car Flashing Light". The LED kit comes with a control box and 12 individually wired LEDs as follows:3mm orange LEDs x 43mm white LEDs x 25mm white LEDs x 45mm red LEDs x2The control box is connected to channel 1 and 2 of the receiver via the provided 3-wire "Y" connectors. Tamiya TT02B Neo Scorcher Run on Paddle Tyres! Mark Bryan RC 2023-11-24 | We took my trusty Tamiya TT-02B Neo Scorcher for a run in the Autumn leaves and a bit of gravel, but thought it would be great to try the RC buggy out on some sand paddle tyres!The tyres came with my recent Hyper-Go H14BM and were a perfect fit for the TT02B. The buggy was a ton of fun with these tyres and made a good go of clearing away those leaves and sounded awesome on the harder surfaces! Tamiya TT02D Ford GT MkII Autumn Drift Action! Drifting is Sexy!!! #rcdrift Mark Bryan RC 2023-10-20 | Well the leaves are falling fast, so we took out the Tamiya Ford GT Mk2 body and plonked it onto the Tamiya TT-02D chassis for a last run of the Autumn before the ground is completely covered in leaf-litter! There were a few leaves around but it didn't stop the enjoyment we had with the Tamiya drifter. Most of the driving is by me and most of the camerawork was by my friend Rob @robbrennanrc on my Sony FDR-AX43 (hand held zoom shots). Joining me on the camera is my mate Rob @robbrennanrc who got this kit for me as a gift. He knows a lot about this chassis and added the best hop-ups to the kit he could think of. About the DT-03 T kit:This assembly kit R/C truck features a stylish body inspired by U.S. stadium racing trucks. Made from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, it features a rear wing, and can be decorated using the flashy markings included in the kit. How to Detail the Tamiya Cockpit Set - Tamiya Lancia 037 Mark Bryan RC 2023-09-22 | So this is how I detail a Tamiya Rally Cockpit Set, part number OP1491. Using generic matte black spray paint for the most part and a mixture of Tamiya acrylics and artists acrylics paint for the Driver and co-driver figures. The handy fine black Sharpie pen comes in handy, as does a soluble acrylic pencil for the detailing. This is how I did the interior for the TA02s Tamiya 037 Lancia rally car, but the process is the same for any Tamiya rally car interior. I did a previous video about this cockpit but in this video I go into more detail about the processes I use. Many thanks for watching!
