Join Connie Baxter Marlow, Mayflower Pilgrim Descendant and Andrew Cameron Bailey, author and independent scholar along with Pokanoket Wampanoag Clan Grandmother Barbara Mary Kurfis. They speak on the peaceful relations their ancestors shared 400 years ago, exemplified by the 3-day harvest celebration now called "The First Thanksgiving. The energy and frequency of gratitude at this very special time of Thanksgiving is a dominant theme.
Barbara, a Mayflower Pilgrim descendant and descendant of Pokanokets who attended that celebrated harvest opens the event with a prayer and a sharing of her personal and cultural perspective and experiences.
Connie and Andrew then walk through the highlights of the context that brought the two cultures together in 1621, the 54 years of peace and friendship that followed which resulted in what Connie and Andrew call "THE FIRST GREAT SYNTHESIS" between Europeans and Native Americans, which they believe birthed "the American mind, spirit and democracy." They bring in "THE SECOND GREAT SYNTHESIS" and show the transformation of consciousness necessary for "THE THIRD GREAT SYNTHESIS" which is now occurring as we come together in our hearts and birth something new NOW!

Andrew Cameron Bailey and Connie Baxter Marlow, are authors, filmmakers, futurists and paradigm shifters. Their First Fifty Years Project illuminates the syntheses between the European Colonists and the American Indian that gave birth to the American mind, spirit and democracy. Andrew's historical mystery novel, The Mayflower Revelations educates and delights it's readers. Their book The Trust Frequency: Ten Assumptions for a New Paradigm presents a system of cosmological axioms, informed by indigenous cosmology, quantum science and Eastern and Western mysticism, which resolve key paradoxes that have kept humanity from walking in balance with Universal Law and with an open heart. For them, integrating indigenous values, concepts and cosmology into modern thinking is critical to the evolution of the human potential and to walking in balance with Earth. Their work over the past twenty-five years has been to bring an understanding of the role indigenous people and values have played in the evolution of consciousness, and have yet to play.
Barbara Mary Kurfis, Clan Grandmother of the Pokanoket Wampanoag walks in two worlds. Her native name is Wamsutta. She is descended from Quadaquina the brother of the Massasoit, great sachem of the Pokanoket. She is also descended from Stephen Hopkins, Mayflower Pilgrim. Both of these ancestors attended the 3-day harvest celebration in 1621. As Clan Grandmother Barbara teaches the many different ways of her people. Barbara was raised in the dominant culture and discovered at 10 years old that she was of Native descent. She was intrigued and drawn to discovering her ancestors and learning and sharing Native ways.
