Hello everyone, Spartan here, bringing you guys my first Halo video!
In today's commentary, I talk about picking up new games, whether they be brand spanking new games, one's you haven't played in a long time, or one's you've never bought but now are cheap and ripe for the picking.
I feel like when we play the same game or games over and over, they get stale quick.
Like for me, Black Ops II has been my major shooter these past few weeks. But, Halo 4 may be another one of those game's I'll be playing as well, granted that I learn the tricks of the trade that go along with that game.
Now, do I still like Black Ops II? Yes, to some degree, the issues in the game are starting to get to me, but watching other's play makes me want to play it as well.
But, it's always nice to have some variety in the mix, such as Dragon Age, Borderlands 2, Oblivion, Halo 4, and other games.
Also, I do a mini review over this game as well.
Overall, a good buy for anyone looking for a new shooter to play. If you haven't touched the series much like I have, the story won't make much sense.
However, I think the story mode serves as a nice way to practice your skills before going into multiplayer.
Other games seem to have it where players can jump straight into the multiplayer without playing the single player to get a handle of the way everything works (i.e. Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, etc.)
But, playing this game's single player did seem rewarding, not just through the achievements, but also in training for what the multiplayer has to offer.
This is the first Halo title to use a Create a Class system, and I think it works wonders for this game. No longer do people feel constrained with what they're using.
Now, players get the chance to pick and choose what they want to use: whether it be their primary rifle, their pistol, grenades, and other perks.
From my experience of Halo, which boils down to playing Halo's 1-3 with some friends, and Halo Reach, this game seems to be very user friendly. Which, some people might not agree with but I think it's a nice change of pace for Halo.
What do you guys think about all of this? What else do you all want to see?
Leave your thoughts in the comments, and I will talk to you all soon :)
