The problem of evil and suffering in the face of the Christian claim that the universe is ordered by an All-powerful and Loving God remains a potent objection. We tend to focus on the mystery of God bringing "good" out of evil, but perhaps our answer would be more potent if we were less abstract about this purported "good".
