Starting with watercolor painting is great for bringing more calm into your life. But for me, lacking confidence was the biggest barrier to finding that calm. Then one day I realised that creating whimsical birds, cats and other subjects was easier and more fun, and my confidence soared. Birds painted my way are easy, undemanding and forgiving, and don’t need any skill whatever. Many people have found them to be an ideal introduction to watercolor and I agree. I wish I’d known this years ago, but am excited to share it with you so you too can enjoy painting right out of the gate.
