Here's the final piece from Fiori Musicali. I originally transcribed this one on February 1, 2017, though I gave it a few tempo and time signature tweaks before I posted it. Have you ever had that feeling when you're watching (or creating) a series finale? Just having that feeling of sadness that the series is ending, while at the same time feeling a sense of satisfied closure? I've had that feeling both times I've transcribed Fiori Musicali.

What fascinates me is that this song, as well as "Bergamasca," is a secular tune in a book full of liturgical music. Would these songs have been played after the mass, or are these just here because Frescobaldi himself had nowhere else to put them? Perhaps that's something to chew on.

Anyway, please let me know what you think. I have plenty more Fiori Musicali to post here, of course! ;)
