I forgot to share my secret tidbit of information of knowledge(from a great source): The Girl scout camp outs were stopped after this horrific incident of Camp Scott but, the girl scouts and boy scouts retreats and camp outs still continued secretly at a local dude ranch in the same town and area under heavy guard for many years, why they weren't before? Names and place have been with held to protect the innocent.
