Celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of Girls Write Now, author Adele Griffin is the guest speaker at the April 19 event in the program's Chapters Reading series in New York City. "There is such celebration and such interest in just becoming as wonderful a writer as you can be," says Griffin. In this video, Griffin speaks with Carmin Wong, a mentee, along with her mentor, Hadia Sheerazi, on the importance of writing, mentorship, and the Girls Write Now community. "I'm in an environment with a bunch of other girls and women who love to write, and nothing has ever felt so comfortable to me," says Wong.
