Your daughters esteem is important because it has an impact on their life and their choices. Self esteem is the idea that they have about themselves. It is how valuable and important they think they are. How they respect themselves as a person.
Parents need to send the right message; that it's whats in the inside that defines us.
Parents need to keep the line of communication open, don't just talk to your daughter..listen to them. Most of the time young girls just want to talk to someone and be heard.
Mothers, be a role model. Be a confident, strong woman. Your daughter looks up to you and will grow up to be very similar to you.
BELIEVE in your daughter and she will believe in herself. Let her fail and make mistakes... That's all about discovering yourself and growing up, just never stop believing in her..because when you stop.. she stops.
And last but not least tell your daughter you love her, more than anything your children want to be loved, but mostly by their parents.
