this question is incredibly difficult to answer and completely depends on the individual. the only global tips I can think of is learn to use references. know how proper anatomy works, take inspiration from the things that excite you and have fun with it.

Not sure if you guys would like to see more of these but I figured Id try it for a change, dont worry, this doesnt mean I wont be doing anymore animations! They just take a little longer to make but a new one is in the works.
I drew Cas and Blush inspired by the salmon run mode in splatoon 2, Id figure cas would do that to earn a little money on the side, Their tentacles look different since this would be two years later from the present time!
This piece originally took me 4 hours to make not counting the sketch I did off screen (but that was 15 minutes at most)

the capture software I used saved the files in a format that adobe didnt recognize, I had to convert the files and it messed with the quality, I cant really fix it anymore and honestly didnt notice how bad it was until I uploaded it, I am currently looking for a different capturing program so I can have better quality in the future!")
