I loved a band called The Outlaws so much and they came to The Palace theatre in Manchester, England on a tour with Little Feat , what a night that was... wonderful stuff. My best friend Ken had to leave at the interval for a night shift but at least he saw them, I miss him so much. He was the most decent man I ever knew and he was my boss!!! I always remember that night when I sing this so bless you Ken..... at least you saw Dr. Hook before you moved on, I thought you would die of laughter and joy that night! x
