A girl from Rugby, UK was diagnosed with an aggressive form of childhood cancer after doctors initially dismissed her symptoms as tonsillitis.

Armaie Burrows-Pitt, 11, spent weeks undergoing tests before being diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer that had spread to her spleen, liver and bone marrow.

She is now undergoing six months of chemotherapy as her family raises funds to support her treatment and recovery.
