Gina wrote this song about growing up in a patchwork family.
"a few years ago i kept having this dream about my parents still being together. and in this dream i had this family photo of my mom, my dad, my brother and me. but i couldn't find my sister. i woke up panicking because i really thought she wasn't a part of me anymore. dreams are a reflection of hope and desire, and in my case, at some point, it was a clarification of the fact that it is okay the way it is. ever and anon it turns out to be even better. be careful what you long for. every longing also carries a loss. dreams sometimes have to stay what they are - dreams. and this was my dream, for what felt like forever. it is not anymore."
