The Bounty Hunter is the board we make for going fast. Traditional camber, the stiffest flex in the GILSON lineup, and the most stable ride we build at speed.
Three decisions do the work. The flex: centered between your feet, with a contact point on either side, so the nose and tail stay quiet at speed while the board keeps enough torsional play to steer and drive. The sidecut: a longer radius and a long, smooth effective edge for rock-solid hold and the small adjustments that matter when you are moving fast. And the camber: full traditional camber. Massive edge hold. Tons of pop.
Underneath, it is built like every 2027 GILSON. Full-wrap sidewall, full-wrap steel edge, damping between the edge and the core, and exactly as much epoxy as the layup needs. Choose the Flat Base for maximum edge contact or the 3D Edge for a surfier, more forgiving feel at the same price. Either way the steel is sharp when you lay it over.
Deep powder, groomers laid on edge, East Coast ice: it likes all of it, and it likes it fast. It still handles slow speeds; it just does not prefer them. For riders who charge steep terrain and want the most locked-in board we make. The 2027 comes in Light or Dark.
