Gilbert Peak hike to 13,449 ft. It's the Highpoint for Summit County in the Uintah Mountains of North-Eastern Utah. 2014-08-01. Started at Henrys Fork Trailhead at 8 am. Hiked 7 miles and arrived Dollar Lake by noon. Quickly set up tent just below 11,000 ft. Then ascended 3 miles and 2,500 ft. to Gilbert Peak. Hopped back to camp and rested for next day's 5 mile climb up to Kings.
