Title: Analytic Methods in Graph Constructions and Operations
Abstract: Methods for constructing and analyzing expander graphs draw on ideas from number theory, combinatorics, and analysis. In this talk, I will focus on the analytic perspective, illustrating how tools from free probability and analytic combinatorics can be used to analyze combinatorial graph constructions and operations, such as the Zig-Zag product and random walks on rotating expanders. Based on joint work with Itay Cohen, Gal Maor, and Yuval Peled.
