Over the past two decades, researchers have learned a lot about how to deliver advanced education effectively and equitably, but very little of it has reached teachers, parents, and schools. At Johns Hopkins, Jonathan Plucker, PhD, works on widening access to gifted education and closing the high-end achievement gap. Thanks to support from donor Lisa Egbuonu-Davis, Med ’83 (MD), SPH ’83 (MPH), Plucker has been able to turn his research into real policy change on the ground.
