Welcome Studio Friend Members! Today I am showing you how to make this useful card folio. It holds a variety of 5.5x4.25 cards with a little pocket for 2.5x3.5 cards and envelopes and some stamps. The perfect gift to accompany your handmade cards or store bought.
Measurements:
The base of this folio is made from cover stock or heavyweight cardstock - 125 lb or higher
Decorative paper in 20-60lb is fine (copy paper to index weight cardstock)
Base
1 pc 5.5" x 7" - Score on 7" side at 1/2"
1 pc 6.5" x 9" - Score on 9" side at 2" and 3.5"
1 pc 6.5" x 1.5" for the Spine
Pockets
2 pcs 3.5" x 7.5" - Score at 1/2" and 1" on 3 sides
Cut out corner areas.
Pieces to Secure Cards in Place
2 pcs 6.5" x 1" - Score at 1" and 1 1/2"
Envelope for mini cards and envelopes
1 pc 7.25" x 8"
Score on 8" side at 2", 2 1/2", 5 1/2", 6
Score on the 7.25" side at 1", 1 1/2", 5 3/4", 6 1/4"
Cut out corner areas.
**All decorative paper is cut 1/4" smaller than the base pieces and folded areas. See video for full descriptions and assembly.
