Jack Gibbons performs Chopin's Sonata in B minor Op.58, recorded live at St John's Smith Square, London on 20 November 1987. The images include Chopin's 1844 manuscript of the work, and other images associated with Chopin, including historic and present day photographs of George Sand's chateau at Nohant where Chopin began writing the Sonata in the summer of 1844.
