All the years living in California i thought the only Giant Redwood trees were up near the Avanue of the Giants North of San Fransico. I was wrong! The sequoia national park is just over 3 hours North of L.A. and worth a drive if you have never gone. Leave the dogs at the hotel or your home because they do not allow them on the trails.
