This one took a little longer than anticipated, but came out flying great. It's the same scale as the LEGO plane, 10x the size of the original set, and is based on the helicopter from 6396 International Jetport. The whole thing is made from sheet EPS covered with 3mm depron foam. I carved the not-so-minifig from foam, to keep the weight down. With a 4s4000mAh battery the weight comes in at a little over 4.5lbs, and I'm using naze32 for control.
A couple more builds are in the pipeline, let me know in the comment section if there is anything you'd love to see fly.
As with all my builds, this is strictly for fun. I do not intend to sell any sort of kit based on this project, although I will be glad to answer questions about the build, and help anyone who is interested create their own. Do not upload my content as your own, and please provide proper attribution if you are sharing it.
