In our March episode, we celebrate Latino women with guests who help us explore empowerment and leadership through community work, activism, design, and art. We travel to Flushing to meet Gianina Enriquez, a community organizer at the Queens Museum. Then we speak with activist Elizabeth Castañeda and designer Alexandra Ramos, two women who arrived in New York at a young age and turned their immigration experiences into a driving force for ambition, creativity, and personal growth. We conclude with artist Rose Deler, whose work explores memory, identity, and territory through the lens of the Dominican experience in New York.
