Hope you enjoy my piano arrangement of the legendary Ghostbusters Theme!
The song was written and recorded by Ray Parker Jr. as the theme song for the 1984 film of the same name.
Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis, the supernatural comedy film about a trio of parascientists and their ghost-catching business in New York became a huge success, a cultural phenomenon, and a global franchise spanning everything from comics and TV series to Halloween costumes and theme parks.
The Ghostbusters Theme Song became a number-1-hit in the US and was nominated for an Academy Award.
Built around a groovy bass line, "Ghostbusters" is an incredibly catchy track, and an iconic piece of film music history.
The "Ghostbusters" bass pattern is a challenge to play on the piano, but if you master it, it will make for an amazing piano cover!
