If you're doing a cross Canada trip, your largest province to cross will be Ontario. For many, it is only a couple of days, but for us, with a truck that only goes 90 km/h and a desire to see as much as possible, even weeks aren't enough. The highest recommended stop for fishing and exploring was Lake of the Woods, and I can tell immediately that it would be exactly that, but for us with the odd weather this year, it is just a brief stop.
Leaving Kenora, we have to put on some long travel days, but passing Lake Superior, the worlds largest lake, a few stops were necessary!
