Ghost River Marker 39 – Trail Recce & Frozen Falls Adventure
In this video, I head out for a trail recce on the Ghost River, just as the trail reopens for the season. This is a special time of year because we’re allowed to go past Marker 39, which is only open for three months annually.
Beyond Marker 39, the trail leads to the stunning frozen falls known as the GBU, named after the three legendary ice climbs: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Along the way, I tackle some sections that require high clearance and 4x4, making for an exciting off-road challenge.
After soaking in the epic scenery and having lunch at the end of the trail, I head back, discovering a few new camp spots worth checking out in the future!
