“Shattered Heart” appears on Different Worlds Vol. 2, the fourth full length studio album by Ghost Jaguar, release date is set for December 17, 2025.

This song was written and composed by me, Gabriela Gomes. The lyrics were inspired by two people I loved, cared for, and lost. In 2023 I had a vivid dream where John Wetton of Asia sang this song to me as a way of comforting me, encouraging me to feel what I carry instead of burying it. When I woke I remembered much of the melody, several of the lyrics, and the keyboard break as if they had followed me out of the dream. I recreated everything I could recall and completed the rest with my own ideas and writing. Because of that dream this song feels in spirit like something I co-wrote with John Wetton, even though it is not the same, the memory brought "Shattered Heart" to life for me. This song captures the feelings of loving and losing and expresses how allowing yourself to feel pain can bring a sense of healing.
The artwork and song title font were created by Gabriela Gomes, and the Ghost Jaguar logo featured alongside the release was designed by Tim Sutherland.
