Ghost in the Shell (2017) was an okay movie that is now, definitely, Hollywood's best imagining of a Japanese animated property. I'm pretty sure you've seen everyone bashing it, but you haven't seen my equally worthless opinion, so please! Watch mine! Seriously though, Scarlett Johansson was okay, even if her intended characterization seemed at odds with that of the script, everything looked great, sounded great. The script is the problem here, not really incorporating the themes of the series as well as it could've or giving the main characters good dialogue at times.
