Daluigi208 | Gex 3 (PSX) - Braveheartless's Secret Room (Version 1.0) @Daluigi208 | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 1 minute ago
(Please skip to 4:50 if you're interested in seeing the room's reveal and the room itself.)
Originally discovered by ant ant (youtube.com/watch?v=MDgQA8FJQ8A), the PSX version of Gex 3's 2nd Secret Level (Braveheartless) has a rather well hidden room that seemingly can't be accessed by normal means. By utilizing a swim in the air glitch, it's possible to swim out of bounds to access a trigger that takes us to this room. One issue however with this method is that the room's geometry isn't properly loaded.
I've noticed while screwing around in Braveheartless with the swim in the air glitch, I can get the entrance to uncover itself. Currently, I'm unsure as to what causes this, but if the entrance is uncovered and the room is entered through properly, the level geometry unloads just fine.
This video is meant to demonstrate my lack of understanding on how to open the room legitimately, as well as visually demonstrate to the Gex Speedrunning community that it is actually possible to open a proper entrance to the room.
