Students participated in a hands-on workshop to learn the ancient Ukrainian art of pysanka - intricately decorated eggs symbolizing beliefs, traditions, and worldviews. This workshop was led by a professor and students in Kyiv, as part of the “Wonder Works from Ukraine: Folklore, Literature, Film” course, taught by Victoria Somoff (https://eeer.dartmouth.edu/people/victoria-somoff). The workshop was run in collaboration with the William Jewett Tucker Center and School House.
