During the flood, all Nozzle Boxes disappear… except for one: the Impossible Rocket, located inside the right bell tower, probably left there by accident. But there are only two known ways to get to it: either by getting out of bounds and using the Rocket Nozzle to shoot Mario into the bell tower, or by getting out of bounds with Yoshi and using the infinite flutter glitch to rise up into the tower.
The first method obviously doesn’t apply during the flood, because there is no other Rocket Nozzle available. And until now, the second method was also thought to be impossible, as there was no way to get around the water surface that kills Yoshi, and hence no way to take Yoshi out of bounds under the tower.
But there is one place where the water surface doesn’t apply: inside the lower awning next to the entrance to Noki Bay. Fortunately, this awning also happens to be slanted, allowing us to clip through it with Yoshi. Once Yoshi is underwater, I get to another clipping spot: the stairs in front of the big statue. Then I get under the tower and start an infinite flutter.
But we’re not done yet: we need to get out of the water without killing Yoshi in the process, and he’s a lot more sensitive to water when Mario’s not on his back. In fact, I need to dismount him on the exact frame before he would touch the surface, then flutter as high as I possibly can so that he doesn’t immediately die as I dismount him again for the next flutter. But it’s still, if barely, possible, and I make it to the Impossible Rocket in the flooded plaza, which is afaik the only way to get a Rocket Nozzle there without cheats.
Since there are no other Nozzle Boxes, the only way to get the Hover Nozzle back is by riding Yoshi.
This video is TAS, played on Dolphin 5.0 with the PAL version of the game.

![Yoshi’s Fruit Adventure – 0x A Presses [Y]
I collect the Ricco 8 Shine without pressing the A button, using only Yoshi.
Grassdigger came up with a way to reach the top of the fruit machines and get two fruits out of them without A or F.L.U.D.D.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6xKNEkScYQ However, since the valve is so far away from the second machine, there’s no way to get more than two without going back to the beginning and starting over, which would give the initial fruits enough time to despawn.
This means that the silly restriction I took last time (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2chBZPliyVk), to get Yoshi to the cage with only two fruits, turns out to be the only way to collect this Shine without A or F.L.U.D.D.!
