Chief Conservator Mary Fahey recently conserved the document ─ no “National Treasure” hunt necessary. See our copy of the Declaration of Independence on display in “With Liberty and Justice for All.”
Plus, don’t miss seeing more original founding-era documents at the museum from July 9-26, when we will host the “Freedom Plane National Tour: Documents that Forged a Nation.” Access to this traveling exhibition from The National Archives and Records Administration is free to the public, but an advance reservation is required.
