The upcoming annular solar eclipse on October 14 will have ~78% coverage from our Thorlabs Colorado office. We’ve built a tracking solar telescope to following the sun’s path for the duration of the eclipse from our Thorlabs location in Colorado. In case you’re not in viewing area, we will be imaging the sun throughout the eclipse to compile into a time lapse to share after the event!
The partial eclipse will start at 9:13 AM MDT, with the eclipse peak at 10:35 AM MDT, and eclipse end at 12:05 PM MDT for the Boulder, Colorado area. #photonics #solareclipse #solareclipse2023
