This is preliminary lay-out work for where I will place the rubies and diamonds. I use a drafting tool for creating parallel lines, then use a number one square hand graver to deepen the lines and adjust them. In future videos what you're seeing here will make more sense. ;)
It's just another little step among many steps in creating a wax model for a gentleman's 18Karat yellow gold finger ring which will hold diamonds and rubies. I am documenting the work in various stages for purposes which will become clear in a few months, hopefully by end of summer 2020, maybe sooner.
