I tried a completely different workflow with the Octatrack. Instead of copying stems from FL Studio into the flash card, I tried sample little snippets of me playing the Digitone 2 and guitar into it. And rather than than sequencing those snippets, I re-recorded into the sample buffers until I was happy with the results.
I accidentally recorded over the wrong buffer constantly so I got a lot of practice on the bass and guitar :P
