Dimitry "Dima" Nazarchuk has had many close calls. One of these was during an aid mission near the outskirts of Bakmut, when his van was hit by the Russian army. His wife says this prompted him to take his safety more seriously, with Dima often choosing or forgetting to wear body armor.
