Going to the vets or to the groomers can be an anxious, frightening experience for your dog. Being in a strange environment and handled by people they don't know can be quite overwhelming.
Here are our tips and ways you can make your dog more comfortable in these situations.
You should always take any kind of training at your dog's pace, and never force your dog to interact with you.
With patience and time your dog should become more comfortable with handling, but if you find they are still struggling then we would recommend that you get in touch with a behaviourist for further advice.
