Prior to joining the Sydney Symphony in 2018, Alex began his orchestral career at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in Melbourne. And in a full circle moment, musicians from ANAM will join us on stage as part of a 140-strong orchestra for our performances of Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder, led by Chief Conductor Simone Young.
