Imagine trying to sleep but 25.000 to 500.000 red mites would crawl on you and suck your blood. Some nights they would feed on you and drink 3% of your total blood. I would never sleep again! 😡
You can buy many insecticides against poultry red mites but not even one won this battle until today. Mites always find a way to adopt and multiply, even if you use every poison invented ever. Besides that, insecticides can be very harmful for chickens and lead to egg reduction and environmental damage.
