With the evil inside the Goron Temple defeated, Darunia keeps his promise to Link’s father, giving him his thanks and a sacred medallion that represents his commitment to peace.
Injured and weary, he makes his way back to Hyrule Town. As he reaches home, he and his wife lock eyes and wordlessly agree: the fearsome Gerudo will never trust a man, and it will be the turn of Link’s mother to take on the next stage in their quest.
But first, if she's going to have any hope of winning their favour, she's going to need some help…
